“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
Giving is like the face of a beautiful surface of a lake, it reflects what’s in the heart of the giver. As we give our tithe (the first 10% of our increase) we treat it as an act of worship and honor to God for his faithfulness to us through the income He allows us to make and His faithful provision.
As a great man of God once said, “the heart of God is Missions.” Therefore, we endeavor to give extravagantly to missionaries and missions projects in the U.S. and around the world to expedite the delivery of good news to people who have not yet realized that Christ Jesus died to forgive their sins and remove their shame.
